being a hippie for the day

So...Malissa canceled due to food poisoning (I think I had a slight case of it myself, coincidentally), so I spent the day smelling every single tea and spice canister in butterfly herbs and liquid planet. Pretty much the definition of heaven for me. Well, maybe not the thai spice. I didn't realize there was so much cayenne in there, so I barely even had it open when I inhaled, and I could barely breathe and my eyes were watering for like 10 minutes. Better pick up some of that next time...I guarantee you it's potent! XD
I looked around for some running shoes. Shopko had the best selection and the best deals, so I'll probably pick some up there next time I'm in town. The only pair of running shoes I own I got when I was 13, no joke. It's just hard to find any that have ridiculously high arch support... On a side note, I may be registering for a half-marathon in July soon. Excited.
Last but not least, the thai cooking class was so awesome! I had met Theo before because my friend John used to work for him (manager at Iza restaurant in missoula). The classroom has a mini kitchen in the front where the teacher demonstrates, and a couple assistants plate out the food and let us eat it. AWESOME! It was delicious, all of it. Even the chicken, and I normally don't even eat chicken.
Afterwards, I roamed around the store for awhile. They have tons and tons of bulk stuff! And sooo much produce and healthy things! I did my best not to buy out the whole store.
Details in the food blog.
Hah, I accepted a challenge on dailymile.com to run 50 miles this month...but I'm still in a food coma from yesterday. Better get my ass out of bed already. Grah. Rawr. Nyaw. Ugh. Moo. This isn't working.
