ahoy! australia was awesome, but you already knew that. yesterday my friend jay and I went to see The Hangover, which was actually pretty hilarious. then we went to boettcher park where we actually saw a beaver swimming in the water. we followed him all the way around the park, and he kept diving under and stuff. it was so weird. then we went to sacajawea where we found some big pieces of wood nailed together with a big long fat nail thing. he dared me to throw it in, so i did. and we called it our sea airplane because that's what it looked like. but it was all lopsided in the water, but that's what makes it special. and then it floated away. then we went to the VFW to play pool and drink beer. oh and play shuffleboard or whatever it's called. it was crazy cuz you play with these metal things on a wooden board with sand sprinkled on it. and they make zoom noises when you throw them. we tried to go bar hopping but polson is gay and all their other bars were closed other than the wolf den, which i refuse to go to. but oh well. we saw a flippin beaver.
and last week I went to the MADEfair with malissa and quinn, and we both bought t-shirt skirts and got hair extensions. we also decided we're going to make synthetic dreads soon. I'm excited. then we rented Grudge 3 and watched it. woot.
i applied at the hot spot. nick says gope will probably hire me, but so far i haven't heard anything back. god i hate trying to get a job.
and oh my fucking god. blink 182 is coming to seattle on sept. 10, and i'm trying to go. mark's cousin's wife might be hooking me up with a ticket that she's buying in a group so we can all sit together. EIGHT BUCKS. and all i have to do is drive to spokane to meet them, then we'll carpool the rest of the way. that is, if this all works out. not only is blink playing, but WEEZER...AND TAKING BACK SUNDAY HOLY SHITTTTTTTT. and hopefully school won't make me fail too much for skipping two days but hey, it's two days after my birthday and it's a chance of a lifetime. cut me some slack.
