day 1: death by jet lag! the unicorns were attacked by batmobile. then we saw the monster truck rally. monster moose rocks! at the end it was crushing cars and it went straight up in the air and landed on a wheel and busted it off. another monster truck explodes his gas tank everywheah! and the tuff truck races were when everyone brings in their old junkers and drives them around the course to get huge air. half of them had to get towed.
day 2: we dug to china and nick found teddy roosevelt and we all ate chinese food. dakota was attacked by the unicorn corral and then we all played horse. we watched the entire 2nd season of the chappelle's show. hold mah drink, bitch.
day 3: went to some stores where mom and nick got some shoes. then we went to doug and grace's.

we did gas chromatography on our artificial banana flavoring and mine was one of the purest. there was just a big spike of the ester and nothing else but a little bit of hexane. i win.
the pharmacy said i have no more refills so i have to wait til gorman answers the fax. if he doesn't okay it this week then I won't be able to take it for the next two weeks. i'm going to be a grease pit.
time to study...

not going to make it. i made the mistake of attempting to pick up a prescription today because I'm all out. walked all the way across campus to get my wallet from my car. now i feel like needles are pushing through my eardrums and through my brain from the inside out. and i'm all windburned. i would have to go clear across campus again to the health center to get it. i give up, because i'm going to need to study tonight without passing out. this is the only time i would be able to get it because it closes at 5. i will personally shoot whoever invented wind.

my chemical romance did something to offend me even more than i was already offended by them.
i've always wondered about this. there are so many sudden deaths in the music industry. elvis, buddy holly, john lennon and stu sutcliffe, jimi hendrix, dimebag, layne, bob dylan, brian jones, otis redding, that's all i can think of right now. why would anyone shoot JOHN LENNON??! what?!?! and why would head leave korn for the church? omg. and why did green day go goth? back in 1990 there were wearing levis and plaid flannel shirts.

queens of the stone age is so cool. i want their cds and i want the new korn cd with the bonus disk...and soad's mesmerize..godmack sucks except for running blind. maybe i'm feeling a little better today! but i didn't get to sleep til 3 last night because i was in hell. srsly i need to make this blog more interesting. maybe if i had some TIME for once. okay well all i have left is chemistry and the three hour chem lab from hell. i need to get back into art. i think i have this.

except for chem recitation. i knew how to come up with the products on the front, but on the back was this huge molecule. I knew where the bonds would break, it's just that there was this whole thing about acid/base conditions and five remaining particles and what the hell...
but there was a chem lab test and i thought it would be really hard but i studied and i might have possibly maybe perhaps aced it. i still suck at theoretical yields.
and then there is composition. our 'moving images of war' essay is due tomorrow. we had to watch a movie having to do with war and then write a paper about what it was trying to say and crap. luckily our teacher said we didn't have to pick a movie that was only about war. I would have never gotten through an entire movie and understood it if it was only about dirty men running around screaming and shooting at each other. so i got to do memoirs of a geisha. which barely has anything to with with war itself but the social and cultural aspects. i can deal with that. but instead of the 1000 word essay we were supposed to write it ended up being close to 2000...
and we had to read this thing about a guy's experience in an american concentration camp and post a response on the
class blog, and I'm the only one who didn't like it. i just don't understand how it's relevant to me. I'm not racist, I didn't declare war, I wasn't the one who forced him to go to the camp, and I can't change the past. so go eat chocolate and dance, okay? it's over.
now all i have to finish that really long lab report!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and a lab protocol.
and study 24/7 because i have three exams in a row next wednesday
I get sick so much more often now that I'm exposed to thousands of people every day....EW
Can't wait til spring break...even though I won't even be able to rest. we're going to washington and oregon again and i get jet lag really bad so it's going to be horrible.

I dreamt I got this tattoo of a dragon all down the side of my back. (like on my side, except it was more toward my back than my front? ya know?) it had a pine green colored outline rather than black, and it was surrounded by koi fish. it was so cool! i want it now.
and hmm, odd coincidence. they actually have chinese food in the country store today. hot and sour noodle soup! it's so good. i should just go to a chinese restaurant by myself one of these days because i miss it.
and i just remembered something funny last night. a couple weeks ago i was walking home from the food zoo and this guy yelled at me through a passing car window (it might not have been at me but i appeared to be the only person in the parking lot at the time...) "FUCK YOU!"...in a cockney accent! it made me lawl. and THEN...a couple days later, i was walking to the henna class and another guy yelled at me through a passing car window (same instance as before...i seemed to have been the only person around at the time) something like "MY GOD, YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL!" i says wtf.

composition got canceled so i slept in til 10:30....i needed that....and then i figured out i have another five-pager to write...it's this huge lab writeup that you have to actually write...christ...i knew all about yeast respiration in 3rd grade, why do i need to write about it?!?!?!!?! WHY????!!! my biology professor is an airhead. and he really sucks at teaching. most of the time i have no idea what he's trying to say, even though i learned this stuff my sophomore year. hence my B on the first test. damn you!!!!!!!!!!
work is crazy. the guy i work with on thursdays is kind of a tard. he forgot to wear his work shirt today. i end up doing all the work for him. he only gets more vegetables when he absolutely needs it so i have to fill up both our containers inbetween customers. i can make sandwiches like three times as fast as he can. and it's mezmerizing. you end up memorizing all the wrapper sticker numbers. check it out.

we made artificial banana flavoring in the lab!!!!!!!!!! it was so cool. but maybe i've written that before. ya know, last week when i slit my finger on the condensing apparatus and bled everywhere?!?! maybe not. well this week we basically condensed some more until there was only the ester left, and the hexane went into the other flask thing and we determined percent yield...yeah...i smell like bananas. it was kind of scary because when i was washing everything out, i think there was some side reaction with the soap and i couldn't breathe and started choking...
and now i have a test tomorrow and a paper to write and two more assignments for composition...it makes me sad.

i neglected j00.
not much is going on. this weekend i went to a private henna class. there was supposed to be someone else but she skipped out because it was snowing. woosie. i walked all the way there. it was fun. it snowed all day too.
this is the design i picked out for myself...and we went to a film festival and spent the night at the cousins'. there are only 2 cousins left who haven't gotten sucked in.
kelly has prioritized everything else over us.don't read the following if you are male or have a weak stomach/heart. i just have to include this because it's so grotequely laughable. you would think that we would have evolved by now to conserve energy, pain, blood, sanity, nausea, angst, sluggishness, etc. here's my story. I took a shower and walked back to my room in a towel. by the time I got halfway down the hall blood had dripped all the way to my ankles. i doubt anyone noticed but OH MY GOD, it was a murder scene. it reminded me of those horror photographers on deviant art, especially this one...
warning, nudity. read the description. seriously, the happy little face she's making doesn't cut it.
